How to Uninstall Apps or Programs in Windows 10

In previous version of Microsoft Windows, such as windows 7, uninstalling a program is very straightforward, control panel > Programs and Features > Hit the name of the programs > Uninstall > Done.

In Windows 10, there are few methods to remove a program or app (either a desktop program or a Windows 10 app) and it is much simpler. The traditional control panel way still work, but we would like share all methods which can make our life easier.

How? This apply to both Windows 10 apps and also traditional desktop programs

Method 1: Uninstall from the Start Menu
1. From Start Menu > All Apps (it is all sort by alphabet by Windows default)
2. Right Click on the Get Office > Uninstall
3. Uninstall notice pop-up > Uninstall to complete the uninstall process

If the Apps that you selected to uninstall is a Program instead > it will trigger to open up Program and Features windows, this is the same screen that we open via control panel > Select the program you want to uninstall > click Uninstall

Method 2: From the Settings Menu
Some app or program may not listed in Start menu, you can uninstall them via Settings menu

Start > Settings > System > Apps & features > all apps and programs will be listed here > hit the unwanted program > Uninstall (there might be a pop-up asking if you really want to uninstall this program, hit Yes to proceed).

Method 3: From the Control Panel
Right Click Start button > Programs and Features
or
Right Click Start button > Control Panel > Programs and Features
then
> Click on the unwanted program > Uninstall as usual (there might be a pop-up asking if you really want to uninstall this program, hit Yes to proceed).

This method only can uninstall programs, not Windows 10 apps.
