Microsoft released new browser Microsoft Edge, shipped with Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. What’s the different between Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer (IE) 11?

Microsoft realized that users don’t really like to use its IE that ship together with Windows. Edge is different from IE, this are 2 different product to cater 2 different needs. Edge is not going to replace IE at this point of time, as IE is still powerful in Backward compatibility, suite to Modern web standards, More secure in Enterprise concern, comply with Internet Explorer Administration needs.
Edge is not Internet Explorer
This statement must be familiar to web developer, “You must test your website across multiple browser, this is to make sure your site interoperability to all major browser, especially IE“, this is always true. Microsoft claim that this issue will not happen to Microsoft Edge. Microsoft trying to make compatibility as top priority in Edge, this means that websites shouldn’t render incorrectly as often in Microsoft’s platform.
